1. Introduction to the Department of Accounting and Computer Science
Digital technologies are essential for the development of various industries, as emphasized by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Mirziyoyev. Our department combines accounting and digital technologies to teach students unique knowledge of both fields. “Accounting” is the language of the enterprise, and “Coding” is the language of the computer. Students learn to use these languages to solve business problems and create innovative solutions.
2. Curriculum Introduction
At HKU's Department of Accounting and Computer Science, you'll learn about international financial reporting standards, coding, and financial big data analysis. The accounting field also includes cost accounting, management accounting, tax law, and auditing.

We have organized professional education programs based on STEM principles in accounting, which enhance students’ cognitive skills, data analysis skills, problem-solving skills, engineering thinking skills, scientific research and navigation skills, design and creation skills, and computational skills.
- International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) have been adopted in Uzbekistan since 2021. In South Korea, IFRS was introduced in 2011, and many Korean universities already teach international accounting standards. At the Department of Accounting and Computer Science at HKU, you will study about IFRS by professors with many years of teaching experience in Korea. Our department will make you an international accounting expert in the rapidly changing global era.
